I thought I would start a post with our favourite most used recipes. Mine currently is Honey Tea Loaf. 8oz of mixed raisins, sultanas and currants, 1/4 pint of cold tea (I used Yorkshire) 4 level tablespoons of clear honey, 1 tablespoon water, 1 medium egg, 8oz self raising flour, honey to glaze.Soak fruit, honey, tea and water overnight. Beat egg into flour and fruit mix, place in 1lb tin loaf lined. Cook for 1hr or till cooked. 160c Fan 180c. I look forward to seeing yours and trying them out! Sam xx

Thanks Sue I made one this morning it is certainly one of our favourites . I made Raisin and Cranberry bread as you know yesterday, and that is what I am sharing here, was delicious. Paul like his with cheese. I used Craisins, from Ocean Spray. They are really morish.... Recipe.... 1lb strong white flour 1 and half oz of fat (I used dairy free marg) 1 Egg 1 level teaspoon of salt 2 level teaspoons of sugar (I used xylitol) 1pkt ready yeast. 7floz of warm water Flour, salt, yeast and sugar into bowl, rub in fat. beat egg with 7floz of warm water. Make well in flour mixture, add liquid and Craisins. Kneed for ten minutes, leave in bowl covered with tea towel or whatever you use for ! hour. Remove and kneed for 1 minute. Grease a 2lb tin loaf, shape dough, cover with tea bowl for 1/2 hour or till well risen. Pre heat oven to 180c fan 200c and cook for 1/2 hour.
